Existence (2020) is Ferrara’s second completely original full-length CD. It creates a distinctive acoustic blend of guitars, sitars, bass, and percussion. Stylistically the influences that have gone into Ferrara’s playing are represented across 14 songs completely written, performed, recorded, and produced by the artist. The acoustic guitar delicately supported by the sitar and elements of light percussion are the vehicles for Ferrara’s sonic consciousness on this collection of songs. It is hard to pin this original work to one genre, as elements of world, folk, classical, blues and even acoustic rock/pop are incorporated into this vision of musical unity.
